Interview with Alfonso LOPEZ DE CASTRO, President of the French business school Financia ( http://www.financia-business-school.com/ ) and Adrien HUBERT, Co-founder of Coin Capital ( https://coincapital.fr/ ) about the acceptance of payments in bitcoins for the payment of study fees and the Master Blockchain project which should be launched in September 2019.
Alfonso LOPEZ DE CASTRO begins by revisiting the decision to accept payments in bitcoins. This announcement has been taken over by dozens of global financial and educational media. This decision was taken in a spirit of accompaniment of the phenomenon and the new sector / method of payment that constitute crypto currencies.
Adrien HUBERT then presents the blockchain Master project that should be launched in a few months at Financia Business School. He insists on the importance of creating such a curriculum while the demand of companies in this field is very strong. It specifies that the offer of training available on the subject is important but difficult to find, and that it is obviously essential to offer quality education.
It evokes the differentiation that is increasingly observed between crypto currencies and the blockchain technology that was born with.
Alfonso LOPEZ DE CASTRO states that access to employment is a priority for Financia students, hence the importance for the school to position itself in this highly sought-after and expanding sector. He also talks about the selection of professors, aiming to offer theoretical and practical / pragmatic education that concretely meets the needs and expectations of companies in the banking and insurance sectors in particular. Big data, artificial intelligence and compliance (compliance / regulation) will also be part of this curriculum because those are related themes.
